Edward M. Mullin, MD, FACS has practiced urology in the Lehigh Valley region for 33 years, with extensive experience in the treatment of general urologic diseases including kidney stones, prostate diseases, erectile dysfunction, incontinence, and bladder dysfunction. He is a clinical professor of surgery at Penn State Milton S. Hershey College of Medicine and Medical Center, Hershey, PA.
Dr. Mullin earned a bachelor of arts degree in premedical studies from the College of the Holy Cross in Worcester, MA, and graduated from Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons in NY, NY. He trained in general surgery at the Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston, MA, and completed his urology residency at Duke University Medical Center in Durham, NC. He served two years in the Public Health Service at the National Heart and Lung Institute, Bethesda MD. He received his American Board of Urology board certification in 1978.
Dr. Mullin is a past president of the Lehigh Valley Hospital Medical Staff, served as acting chairman of the Department of Surgery, and chief of the Division of Urology. He has also served on numerous hospital committees over the years. He is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons, and a member of the American Medical Association, Lehigh County and Pennsylvania Medical Societies and American Urological Association.
Dr. Mullin and his family remain active in the community supporting Camelot for Children, the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation and NOAH (National Organization of Albinism and Hypopigmentation).
