Abby Van Houten '05, attended an REU (research experience for undergraduates) at Grand Valley State University this past summer. This research, conducted in collaboration with Dr. Jody Sorensen, GVSU and Amanda Morris '06, Haverford College, culminated in a talk given at Mathfest held in Providence, RI. The title of the talk was "Bubbles and Sprinklers: Bifurcation Diagrams for One-Dimensional Dynamical Systems."
