2006: CCSCNE '06

Michael Yingling '07 presented a poster on "Developing Mobile & Accessible Interfaces for Web Systems" based on a summer research project.

Tim Mullin, '07 presented a poster on "Virtual Environment" based on a project he, Mike, and Matthew Berner worked on in CSI 210.

Emily Skrzat '06 presented a poster on "Responsive electronic music accompaniment for dance as generated by video capture analysis" based on a project she and Travis McDemus worked on last Fall in CSI 210, and which Travis will continue this summer.

Tim, Mike, and Emily solved three of six problems to win third place (out of 24 teams) in the CCSCNE student programming contest.

Clif Kussmaul, Assistant Professor of Computer Science, presented a workshop on user interface prototyping that he developed with Roger Jack, of Elegance Technologies. Clif also presented a workshop on using wikis to support teams, which he developed with Simon Priest, Dean of the Wescoe School, and Susannah Howe, Design Clinic Director at Smith College.
