Paul M. Berger MD
Dr. Berger joined UAA in September 2005. He earned his
undergraduate degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology at The University of Maryland, as well as his medical degree. Prior to college, he served as an infantryman in the US Army. He
completed his general surgical and urology training at The Milton S. Hershey Hospital of The Pennsylvania State College of Medicine. He went into private practice in North Carolina for five
years, where he was Chief of Surgery of Sampson Regional Medical Center for three of those years. He is a member of multiple medical and professional societies, and currently serves on the
Operating Room Governing Board for Lehigh Valley Hospital. He serves as a consultant for Galil Medical Inc, in which he trains other physicians in cryotherapy of the prostate. He is the
Medical Director of the Lehigh Valley Continence Center. Dr Berger is certified by The American Board of Urology. He speaks
Spanish. He holds a faculty appointment with the Pennsylvania State College of Medicine as Assistant Clinical Professor of Surgery.
